Workshop Schedule 2024
Saturday 14 December
- Bus to depart Crowne Plaza, Adelaide
- 10.00 am arrival at the beautiful Kingsford, the Barossa where you will be staying for the next three days
- Take some time to settle in and explore the grounds before lunch
- Gather together to hear the first of the presentations from the group
- A bus will transport you to Ballycroft Vineyard for a unique cellar door experience of a small winery with the motto ‘small winemaker, big wines’
- Travel to Seppeltsfield for a historical estate tour and visit the 1888 Gravity Flow Winery
- Dinner will be held at the underground cellar and groups will visit the centenary cellar at the completion of dinner
Sunday 15 December
- Following breakfast overlooking the grounds, and possibly seeing some Australian wildlife hopping by the property, workshops and lunch will follow
- A bus with then take you to Yalumba for a cooperage barrel bend demonstration
- You will regroup in a meeting room to hear some presentations from the group
- Following the presentations you will be taken on a guided tour of the historical clocktower and signature cellar where you will enjoy a rare and fine tasting
- Dinner will proceed in the VAT with wines paired with each course
Monday 16 December
- A full day of presentations will follow breakfast
- Lunch will be served at Kingsford
- A bus will transport you to Langmiel Winery for a historical tour and tastings amoung the oldest vines in the world
- You will then return to Kingsford to enjoy a 7 course paired dinner with winemaker in the Wine Tunnel
Tuesday 17 December
- After breakfast, its time to say goodbye. A bus will transport you back to Adelaide and/or the airport, leaving at 10.00 am
